Telehealth

Get Help From The Comfort Of Your Home

Please contact us and see if telehealth may be a good option for you.

What does telehealth mean?

Telehealth or telemedicine is a special type of visit between you and your health care provider that can occur without an in-person office visit. Telehealth is done online with internet access on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Telehealth is convenient, and especially helpful to monitor and improve ongoing health issues, such as medication changes or chronic health conditions like arthritis. During the COVID-19 pandemic telehealth offers a safe and convenient way to see your doctor. Dr. Zagelbaum Ward understands this and works to accomodate her patients based on their preferences.

Benefits of Telehealth

  • Limited physical contact reduces exposure to COVID-19
  • Virtual visits ensure you get health care wherever you are located – at home, at work or even in your car
  • Virtual visits cut down on travel, time off from work, and the need for child care
  • Virtual health care tools can shorten the wait for an appointment
  • Increased access to specialists who are located far away
